Over the last 19 years I've bought and sold six Ottawa homes for my own family in these neighbourhoods, one that was new construction, one that was a custom build, and one that included a major renovation. I learned what to do and what mistakes to avoid when buying your home with and without children and pets. I have also been a short-term and long-term landlord with a couple of condos locally and three vacation properties in Costa Rica, where I lived for 2 and a half years with my husband and sons (and I even wrote a book about it).
 
I grew up in Ottawa and have raised my two sons here. I am co-founder of Ausome Ottawa, a charity that provides sport and recreation to families of children with autism, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Tamir Foundation.

I love this community, and can confidently say that Ottawa has other world-class locations beat for all-around quality of life.
