In a past life, which feels like decades and also minutes ago, I was executive director and co-founder of Ausome Ottawa. It is really important to me that I continue to give back to this organization that gives so many families touched by autism an opportunity to build connection and community through sport.
That’s why I’m supporting the Trot or Treat for Ausome Halloween event as the matching donor.
Did you know that I’m an Autism-Friendly Realtor®?
As far as I know, I’m the only one here in Ottawa.
What this means is that I understand that the home buying and selling process can be far more complex and challenging if someone in the family is neurodiverse. I get that there are nuances to finding a home with the right features, and I know how to work with you to minimize any stress and anxiety.

If you know someone who could use a little more sensitivity, support, and patience when it comes to the process AND the outcome of their buying and selling experience, please be sure to let them know I can help, or send them the link to download my social story about moving, Let’s Get Ready to Move to Our New Home which can help prepare children, especially those with anxiety about disruptions in routine, for the move
